The TeleCheck Program for Seniors focuses on servicing individuals aged over 55 residing in the Central West LHIN. We offer emotional support, regular safety check-ins, and medication reminders. By providing companionship, we help clients cope with feelings of isolation and contribute to their sense of community.
Feeling emotionally flooded at times is completely normal and what makes us human. The Touching Base Program is a 3–6-month transitional support program servicing individuals over 16 who live in the Region of Peel.
Our empathic volunteer responders are professionally trained to offer help to individuals struggling with mental health issues, a crisis, loneliness, and isolation. Volunteers provide registered participants with medication reminders, safety check-ins, and/or emotional support.
When it feels like you’re losing touch with society and overwhelmed by loneliness, know that you’re not alone in this.
Supported by a team of compassionate volunteer responders, our Caller Reassurance for Seniors Program is designed to service senior citizens over 55 residing in Toronto (including Scarborough, Etobicoke and North York).
We prioritize our seniors’ emotional needs and help them blend into the community with ease. By providing regular, personalized call-outs and medication reminders to registered seniors, we assist them in living independent lives with wholesome social and emotional support.
