Distress Centres of Greater Toronto finds students to be a great asset to the organization and encourages students to apply from the Social Service Sector, along with many other programs. We provide student placement opportunities year-round within each of our programs, including: the Distress/Crisis Helplines, registered client social programs in 7+ languages, our in-person support groups and offer a variety of opportunities within our Human Resources and Fundraising Teams.

In particular, we acknowledge the territory of the Anishinabek, Huron‑Wendat, Haudenosaunee and Ojibway/Chippewa peoples; the land that is home to the Metis; and most recently, the territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation who are direct descendants of the Mississaugas of the Credit. We are grateful to have the opportunity to work on this land, and by doing so, give our respect to its first inhabitants.
